Winter - Eric Henderson Classical Guitar

A potter, Thom Chambers, throws pots in a Volkswagen van while driving around Laguna Beach, donating the wet clay pots to the environment. Shot with super 8 film by Fred Stodder in 1979. Music by The Mike Mays Quartet.

Fred Stodder's video portrays guitarist Eric Henderson performing his composition “Winter”. It is more like a motion painting than a music video, utilizing multiple layers of video with artwork and abstraction, the intensity increases as it intertwines and evolves with the music. There is constant but subtle movement as the piece builds to a climax and then resolves in serene silence.
